Morris has practiced civil litigation for over 40 years almost exclusively in construction, professional errors and omissions, insurance coverage and environmental matters.

Morris graduated from Queen’s University with degrees in Engineering and Law and from Osgoode Hall with an LLM. He received his Professional Engineer designation in 1982.

Community Involvement and Leadership

Morris was President of the Ontario Bar Association, Chair if its Insurance Section, and Audit, Governance and Strategic Planning Committees. He also served as Chair of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association Board of Directors and as a Director of the Association of Defence Trial Attorneys.

His community involvement included two terms as a Director of the Toronto East General Hospital and many years as a Director and Vice Chair if its Foundation.
